I just realized that WP-Cache wasn't caching, because I was updating my theme and the change was immediate. I recently went from PHP4 to PHP5, and it seems like the only problem was that WP-Cache didn't read the "enabled" setting from the config file, so I followed your steps and it works now :D Thank you for this.
